IT HAS MADE MY PRINTING WHILE OUT OF THE OFFICE ALMOST A PLEASURE. PRINT IS GREAT, BATTERY LASTS A LONG TIME, COMPACT. ONE COMES WITH THE PRINTER AND THE SLEEVE IS NOT WORTH THE HASSEL TO USE. I LOVE THIS PRINTER. IT WAS SOOO EASY TO START WORKING WITH. DON'T LIKE THE SLEEVE TO CARRY IT IN FROM THE PEOPLE ASLO BOUGHT.
Some issues with installation, but if you turn off everything at start-up, it will install fine should you have an issue. The print quality is pretty good. Bluetooth printing is very good. This printer works great. I wish I had it earlier. Then return your items to start-up.
They work great, are easy to use, and are small enough to carry in the vehicles. I bought 3 for our salesmen. So far no problems.
It is a little bulky and heavy for people that are flying all the time but for "mobile" offices it still beats anything else I have seen. I found out that the unit is based on the desktop printer motor that HP uses in all of its other printers not a "mobile motor" like the cannon giving it a great print speed (about 5 - 15 seconds for a B/W printout). I am a commercial truck driver and use this primarily for printing out logs and permits. If there is any "Cons" to this printer they would be the size and weight. For a mobile printer this is by far the best. I have used the Cannon and this one with the Blue-tooth connection with battery makes it very easy and reliable in tight quarters. Quality is superb.
I get months from black and I've never replaced the color yet. The print cartridges that fit this machine are the same as my 6310 All In One, 95 and 98, which is handy & there are lots of aftermarket manufacturers for this very common cartridge. Is this as small as my previous Canon BJC85 which was stolen out of my luggage. Also, there was no cigarette lighter adaptor in the box, but can use it on battery and we have a power converter so it can still be used in the car. For the job it's built to do, it's going to perform admirably. Hubby has the printer with him & I don't recall which ones actually came with the unit, but the list of cartridges definitely included the above listed.
No, but I don't think it will be as temperamental & has better print quality. I've removed a star from the rating due to having to install the drivers twice before getting the HP toolbox to install on XP Pro SP3. Update: 1/8/10 - Amazon sent another one and that's when I noticed that the power adaptor isn't even listed on the box, so it's an Amazon description error.This is a nifty little printer. I print several times a day, but I tend to conserve ink by printing in fast draft or fast normal 99% of the time using black ink only.The bluetooth works wonderfully and the battery will definitely come in handy.
